Security Tab

The Security Tab controls how a user who has logged in sees functions in FieldOne, using either of these choices:

•	all functions are visible, whether or not the user has Security Rights

•	the only visible functions are those with Security Rights granted to that user

Use the Check-box to control visibility of restricted functions throughout the entire application:

Hide Restricted Actions:

•	Check-box selected - all unauthorized functions become "invisible" to the user.

For instance, if a user is restricted from access to Work Orders, the Work Order Lookup function would not appear.

•	Check-box empty - unauthorized functions are visible, but a warning message appears if the user attempts to access them, and the action is prevented.

For instance, if a user is restricted from access to Work Orders, the Work Order Lookup function would appear, but would not be accessible to that user.
