Link Records Created in QuickBooks

1.	(Not required for initial Import. But provides useful background.)

You will find certain Link Records Created in QuickBooks as preparation for frequent Synchronization, to receive transfers from FieldOne.

In a sense these are only background technicalities, but at least you need to be aware of what these records are if you find them in QuickBooks. You will recognize these special "link" records when you see either the name "PioneerStarTech" or the abbreviation "PST" in the QuickBooks record name. These new QuickBooks records are listed below, with a brief explanation of their technical use:

QuickBooks Entry	Name on Transfer Record	Purpose:
Vendor	PioneerStarTech - Tax Vendor	Use as Vendor for Sales Tax Items, below
Non-Inventory Item	PioneerStarTech - Item	Use when no matching Item in QuickBooks, e.g., when exporting Payment Plan Invoices
Non-Inventory Item	PioneerStarTech - Discount	Use when exporting a Discount Amount to QB
Sales Tax Item(s)	PST - Tax (<tax group name>)	Use for each Tax Group in FieldOne
Sales Tax Item	PST - Tax (Unknown)	Use where Tax Group is unknown

Some new General Ledger Accounts will be created in QuickBooks also. This table shows the new G/L Accounts associated with the new "Transfer" entries:
