Direct Data Entry

In a DataView that allows Direct Data Entry, the first detail line says, "Click here...." This means that you will use the actual detail lines to add or change records.

1.	Use the Tab Key to advance without the mouse, leaving with one hand free to enter data into the fields.

2.	Since changes are made directly on this screen, use the Data Entry Icons at the bottom left of the window.

3.	To the left of these are Paging Icons to help scroll through large numbers of records.

(Detail Display screens only accept new data through the New and Edit buttons at the bottom of the screen or from an automatic process. They have Paging Icons, but no Data Entry Icons.)
