Date/Time Handling

In any DataView column that includes Date or Time, Date/Time Handling helps you to group and/or select the details on the screen.

Right-click exactly in the Date or Time field name in the column header section of any DataView to select Date and Time Handling from the DataView Menu Functions. Click the arrow at the right of the menu to see the two types of function:

•	Grouping Options - create Groups controlled by Plus and Minus Sign Icons (no Box Header appears for this type of grouping):

•	Filtering Options - set up a checklist visible when you click the down-arrow for the column header of the Date field. Now you can quickly place a check-mark to select one or more date periods for the Filter to include on the display:

In the example above, where Relative Day Periods has the check-mark, when you click on the down-arrow in the column header for the Date field, the drop-down filtering choices would appear as follows:
