By setting up a Web Portal for your Company you can easily offer a much higher level of service to your Customers. All that your Customers need is a Bookmark in their Web browser to make a visit to your Web pages that have been designed for their convenience.
Here is a miniaturized sample Web Portal Home Page for a sample company called ANC Heat and Air. For full-size view and explanation of this layout, see the Portal Welcome Page.
The Company Web Portal is an add-on feature in FieldOne, paid for separately. To enable this feature, see Getting Started. For further explanation of functions and benefits, see Understanding the Web Portal below. Here are a few of the advantages:
1. | Only the Web Portal offers your Customer himself the ability to directly enter new Service Requests without a phone call, but with Email Notification, if desired. These are then imported into FieldOne by your staff for processing and responses sent back to the Web Portal. Of course, the phone can be used also, but this can be very useful to your Customer. |
2. | Your Customers will have a convenient and speedy way to access data they share with your company, and this can save a lot of time for both parties. For instance: |
• | Without contacting you, your Customer can review progress on Work Orders and Schedules and add Notes for your staff to see. |
• | You can reduce long telephone discussions, since the Customer can see any Invoice (and all Payments applied) and also any Payment (and all Invoices applied-to). |
With a simple click of the mouse Portal Users can access many types of data from your files.
