| Navigation: Basic Working Procedures > Work Orders > Display Work Order Details Screen > Schedule Tab > Mini-Schedule Board | |
You can do your scheduling for the Work Order using a Mini-Schedule Board - with defaults set from this Work Order.
To get here, click the Assign with Schedule Board button on the Work Order Schedule Tab.
Here is a sample of a Work Order Mini-Schedule Board screen. Note the borders which define this as a window, rather than a work area screen, like the main Schedule Board:

These are the defaults provided by this particular Work Order:
From detail line selected on Schedule Tab, if any
Or, Promised Date on the Work Order General Tab, if any
Or, today's date
| 2. | Technicians: Unassigned Technician |
Here are the steps to enter Schedule Slots:
| 1. | Approve or select the Date in the Calendar at the right. |
| 2. | Approve or select the Technician. (Or you can use the Unassigned Column for now.) |
| ► | Use the Tech Selection Lookup Box |
| ► | Or, right-click on any empty Time Cell and select Technician Layout Editor |
| 3. | Approve or select the Time Cell(s) in the Technician Column you have chosen. |
| 4. | Click Assign To Cells button in the middle of the Right Panel. |
| 5. | You can right-click the new Schedule Slot to add more details on the Time Slot Details screen, such as Priority. |
TIP: The Tech Selection box does not display Crews. In order to assign multiple Technicians and/or Crews, you need to access the Time Slot Details.
| 6. | Note that if you have selected a Crew, Schedule Slots now appear also for all members of the Crew. |
| 7. | When finished, you must click OK at the bottom right to save and create the new Schedule Slots for this Work Order. If you click Cancel, no entries are created. |
| 8. | Your entries will now appear on the Main Schedule Board for the chosen date, where you can maintain them. |
