Once you have part items listed in the estimate items tab and you have activated the estimate/project work order, select the Actions button and choose Process Parts. All of your part items listed in the estimate items tab should be available to process over into the items tab of the work order. You can either choose to create a PO for parts not in stock, or for the part in stock  take the parts directly from your warehouse locations.
